Seven of the superior small businesses in Monterey County were honored by Union Bank and KSBW 8. The Intercontinental Hotel in Monterey hosted the 10th annual Salute to Small Business awards ceremony. The event awarded small businesses in seven categories, including Agribusiness, Business Professional, Entrepreneur of the Year, Hospitality, Minority-owned Business, Nonprofit 501c3, and Woman-owned Business, for the great improvements they brought in their local communities.

“We are proud to partner with KSBW 8 for the 10th consecutive year to recognize the accomplishments of small businesses in Monterey County,” said Union Bank Regional President Elaine Genevro. “Supporting small business owners is embedded in our corporate culture, and we take pride in recognizing the hard work and dedication of these outstanding entrepreneurs.”

“We are so pleased to have partnered now with Union Bank for a decade, in honoring the drive and determination of exceptional small business owners here on our Central Coast,” said KSBW 8 and Central Coast ABC President and General Manager Joseph W. Heston. “Their success is certainly a cause for celebration, as their achievement benefits everyone in our community.”
